Hull FC licking their wounds as Scott Taylor falls unwell

Best wishes to Hull FC prop Scott Taylor, who we understand will have his appendix removed in Australia.

The vice-captain has been in hospital after feeling unwell, and was absent at the players meet and greet event in Kiama on Sunday.

Taylor actually played against Wigan despite being under the weather, with rumours on social media stating that it’s his appendix that is the problem.

The cost of Saturday’s defeat is starting to come out now, with Danny Houghton set to be out for around six to eight weeks with a calf injury.

Mark Minichiello also suffered a tear in his ankle, with knocks too for Bureta Faraimo, Jake Connor and Liam Watts.

Connor played on despite a knock to his Posterial Cruciate Ligament, with Watts and Mini also playing through the pain barrier.

That leaves Hull FC a bit short handed for Saturday’s game against St George Illawarra Dragons.

Former FC winger Curtis Naughton was with the boys in Kiama though, so can we put two and two together and suggest he may line up in those hoops again at ANZ Stadium?

Also one final run out for you Gaz? You know you want to..
