The Super League regular season is done and dusted and Hull FC now know who they’ll face home and away in the Super 8s.
With the top four realistically beyond us the seven fixtures will somewhat have a dead rubber feel to them, but there’s still plenty to play for, mainly pride. No-one wants to go into the winter on the back of a poor finish. We want end the season strongly going into next year and win as many games as possible.
The Black and Whites will face Castleford, Catalans and Wakefield at home, and will travel to Warrington, Wigan, St Helens and Huddersfield.
With the Super 8s televised twice a week, Hull have a 25% chance each week of being televised on a Thursday, meaning some unfavourable trips on Thursday nights over the Pennines could be incoming.
The fixture dates will be confirmed on Wednesday 1st August.
