Hull FC will play at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium in the 2019 Magic Weekend, after the round of fixtures were confirmed by the RFL.
And for the first time in the concept’s history, the Airlie Birds will meet Huddersfield, with the unpopular extra Hull Derby scrapped.
Anfield hosted England’s second test win over New Zealand earlier this month, with six games over two days set to take place at the iconic venue – the same weekend as the Liverpool Marathon.
It will bring an end to four years of Newcastle’s St James Park hosting the event, with Super League spreading its wings in touching distance of three of its current clubs – St Helens, Warrington and Wigan.
Liverpool will become the fifth location to host the Magic Weekend, with Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and laterally Newcastle the four previous beneficiaries.
The Magic Weekend concept will also make its NRL debut in 2019, with all sixteen teams playing in Brisbane.
