Hull FC Reserves name strong squad for Featherstone game

Hull FC Reserves coach Richard Tate has named an 18-man-squad for Thursday’s game against Featherstone.

Both Masimbaashe Matongo and Jack Logan are named in the squad following lengthy spells away from the side. Logan hasn’t played since injuring his elbow in May, whereas Matongo has been on compassionate leave. Both are welcome returns, with Logan set to feature much earlier than expected – great news with his contract running out at the end of the year.

There is more first team representation in Jack Brown, Kieran Buchanan, Charlie Graham, Danny Washbrook and Connor Wynne.

Academy youngsters Josh Atkinson, Jack Bartlett, Ben McNamara, and Jordan Webster are all named.

There is also a place for Harvey Gotts, alongside regulars Ryan Price and Elliot Townsend.

Hull Reserves vs Featherstone Reserves kicks off 7:30 at Hullensians. Fev have beaten two very young Hull sides at their place already this year, so this is one the Black and Whites will want to win.
