Hull FC Reserves make it five wins in a row at Wakefield

Hull FC Reserves won their fifth consecutive game thanks to a 24-18 victory at Wakefield on Wednesday night.

The win is more impressive too given the young Airlie Birds found themselves 18-0 down in the first half due to a Max Jowitt hat-trick.

But following that Hull showed a lot of charcator, showing four unanswered tries to snatch victory. Lewis Bienek crossed over before half time, with Ryan Devaney, Ryan Price and George Cooke all finding the try line after the break.

The Reserves have two games left to complete 2019 – they are at Halifax next week (12th September), before hosting Keighley on the 19th.

UTC will be at both games. Sadly we missed this one to Dan’s U9s commitments at Cottingham Tigers.
