Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Sunday’s Super League match at Wigan.
The Airlie Birds head over the Pennines for the first time this season, and are boosted by the sensational return of captain, leader, legend Gareth Ellis, who came out of retirement to play for the Reserves against Wakefield last weekend.
Ellis is also joined by the return of Dean Hadley from an abdominal injury, and new permanent signing Ratu Naulago.
Of course that is coincided as usual with a new absentee, with Scott Taylor serving a three match ban. Why? Answers on a postcard please as we ain’t got a clue.
The game at Wigan comes too soon for Albert Kelly and Fetuli Talanoa, with Josh Bowden, Chris Green, Liam Harris, and Lewis Bienek still nursing injuries.
In-form Jamie Shaul is included, alongside fellow creative outlets Marc Sneyd, Jake Connor and Joe Westerman.
Youngsters Jordan Lane and Jez Litten retain their places. Hakim Miloudi drops out.
Meanwhile Wigan have fresh injury concens with Tony Clubb and Liam Farrell picking up knocks during the World Club Challenge last week. Both miss out, as does Joe Burgess.
