Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Friday’s Hull Derby against Hull Kingston Rovers.
Club captain Danny Houghton is back in the side after tearing his calf, and will take to the field for the first time since suffering the injury against Wigan in Wollongong. Mickey Paea is also back after recovering from a broken hand.
Perhaps the most notable inclusion though is one Albert Kelly, the outstanding half back Hull signed from Rovers on a free, who returns to Caravan Park for the first time as an opposition player. His reception will be hostile to say the least.
On the injury front Sika Manu and Dean Hadley are sidelined with calf and knee injuries. Hadley, who strained his medial ligament during last weeks win over Catalans, will be out for around a month.
Meanwhile, Bureta Faraimo, Jake Connor, and Josh Griffin are all set to play in their first ever competitive Hull Derby.
Youngsters Brad Fash, Jordan Lane and Masimbaashe Matongo are all named.
Hull Starting XIII: 1. Jamie Shaul, 2. Bureta Faraimo, 3. Carlos Tuimavave, 4. Josh Griffin, 5. Fetuli Talanoa, 6. Albert Kelly, 7. Marc Sneyd, 8. Scott Taylor, 9. Danny Houghton, 12.
