Hull FC name squad for Leeds

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Thursday’s Super League match at Leeds.

The Black and Whites haven’t won at Headingley since 2007, but head into the clash following a welcome two points last time out.

However, they’ll be without props Mickey Paea, Josh Bowden and Liam Watts, plus half back Albert Kelly, who hasn’t recovered from a knock suffered against Castleford.

Club captain Danny Houghton is still out with a calf injury, and winger Bureta Faraimo is also absent after picking up a head knock. That’s five key players injured, and one suspended.

As a result young outside back Jack Logan is named, and there is a place for Jordan Lane once again.

Fellow youngsters Brad Fash and Masimbaashe Matongo keep their places, with Chris Green within a shout for a first competitive appearance of the year following injury, and then the birth of his daughter.

Back rowers Jack Downs and Jansin Turgut are also included.
