Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Sunday’s game at Leeds.
The Black and Whites haven’t won at Headingley since 2007, and head into the clash knowing two points are vital as they look to keep hold of third place in Super League.
But with the Challenge Cup semi-final against Warrington coming next week, Radford has opted to rest Albert Kelly’s hamstring once again. Jake Connor is expected to line up in the halves alongside Marc Sneyd.
The game also comes too soon for Andre Savelio who has been given time to nurse a foot injury. There is good news on the injury front though as Jack Logan is making good progress on a long-term elbow injury and could even return before the end of the year.
The only change to the squad sees Jordan Lane return following two games in the Reserves. Kieran Buchanan drops out. Gareth Ellis is also named and should return after having 40 stitches on his face after a collision during the defeat to St Helens.
Hull Squad: 1. Jamie Shaul, 2. Bureta Faraimo, 3. Carlos Tuimavave, 4. Josh Griffin, 7. Marc Sneyd, 8. Scott Taylor, 9. Danny Houghton, 10. Josh Bowden, 11. Dean Hadley, 12. Mark Minichiello, 13.
