Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Friday’s Super League fixture against Catalans.
The Airlie Birds will be looking to cement third position in the competition, whilst the French outfit need the two points to keep in check with the top five – it’s another massive game.
Hull though, as they have been all season, are seriously hit with injuries, with no fewer than SIXTEEN players unavailable for Friday’s game.
Five changes have been made from the squad that beat Wakefield. Dean Hadley is out with a head knock, and ever-present Carlos Tuimavave is missing with a hamstring injury, whereas Albert Kelly (arm), Marc Sneyd (knee) and Danny Washbrook (calf) all miss out.
Hull are boosted with the return of Mark Minichiello, whilst Jordan Thompson and Levy Nzoungou return to the squad. There’s a first call up of the season for Liam Harris too, and Kieran Buchanan is also named for the first time ever.
Radford has only 19 players to call upon this week, with Jamie Shaul (concussion), Josh Bowden (knee), Andre Savelio (ankle), Matty Dawson-Jones (knee), Jez Litten (rib), Jordan Lane (knee), Cameron Scott (concussion), Jack Brown (ankle), Jack Sanderson (shoulder) and Charlie Patterson-Lund (knee) joining Sneyd, Kelly, Tuimavave, Hadley and Washbrook on the sidelines.
Ratu Naulago has been called up by the Army – completing the 16 missing players.
