Hull FC name squad for Castleford Cup game

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Friday’s Challenge Cup sixth round clash against Castleford.

The Airlie Birds welcome back half backs Albert Kelly and Marc Sneyd back into the squad. Both missed last week’s defeat to Catalans.

Ratu Naulago also returns to the side having been called up to the Army over the weekend. Dean Hadley and Cameron Scott also return having overcome head knocks.

Meanwhile Jamie Shaul, Carlos Tuimavave, Andre Savelio, Matty Dawson-Jones, Jordan Lane, Jez Litten, Jack Brown, Danny Washbrook, Jack Sanderson and Charlie Patterson-Lund are still sidelined with injury.

Young full back Connor Wynne has been dropped from the side, with Jordan Thompson, Levy Nzoungou and Liam Harris not selected.

Castleford welcome back James Clare, Jordan Rankin, Jesse Sene-Lefao and Matt Cook to their side, but have lost both Paul McShane and Daniel Smith to injury.

Friday’s game kicks off at the unusual time of 7:35 at the KCOM Stadium.
