Hull FC name squad for Castleford away

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has named his 19-man-squad for Thursday’s Super League match at Castleford.

The Black and Whites head into the clash following a narrow win over Salford after the Cup demolition of holders Catalans the week before.

Those fixtures saw Radford name an unchanged side for the first time in 129 games, but Hull will be without Josh Griffin this time out after the centre picked up a one match ban for a dangerous throw.

Scott Taylor is back from a minor calf injury and replaces Griffin in the side. There are two more changes too, with recalls for young duo Jack Brown and Kieran Buchanan. Sika Manu has a dead leg whilst Josh Bowden is rested.

Danny Houghton, Chris Green and Andre Savelio, who all picked up knocks in the Salford game, are named.

On the injury front Carlos Tuimavave and Gareth Ellis are still not ready, whilst Jordan Lane, Jack Logan, Matty Dawson-Jones and Jack Sanderson are still dealing with their respective injuries.

Hull trio Jez Litten, Jack Brown and Cameron Scott all played for Doncaster on dual reg over the weekend. The Dons best Oldham 31-0.

Hull Squad: 1. Jamie Shaul, 2. Bureta Faraimo, 6. Albert Kelly, 7. Marc Sneyd, 8. Scott Taylor, 9. Danny Houghton, 11. Dean Hadley, 12. Mark Minichiello, 13. Joe Westerman, 14. Jake Connor, 15. Chris Green, 20. Brad Fash, 23. Mickey Paea, 28. Jez Litten, 30. Danny Washbrook, 33. Ratu Naulago, 35. Andre Savelio, 37. Jack Brown, 38. Kieran Buchanan.
