Hull FC announce 2020 pre-season games

Hull FC have now confirmed all four pre-season fixtures for 2020.

Get the thermals out, the Bovril too, as the Airlie Birds head to West Yorkshire for two games, first travelling to Halifax before making the shorter trip to Batley a fortnight later. That is sandwiched in between a ‘home’ game against London at Brantingham Park, whilst both the Academy and Reserve sides will play at the old enemy at the end of the month.

Tickets for the Halifax and Batley games are priced at £15 adults, £10 concessions and just £1 for juniors. The games against London and Rovers are £10 for adults and £5 for juniors and concessions.

Hull kick off the Super League season at Leeds, with the full squad now back grafting at County Road, lifting weights, flexing bi’s and rolling in mud.

Pre-Season fixtures

Halifax (The Shay) – Sunday 5th January (3pm)

London (Brantingham Park) – Sunday 12th January (2pm)

Batley (Mount Pleasant) – Sunday 19th January (3pm)

Rovers (Craven Park) – Saturday 25th January (Academy 1pm, Reserves 3pm)

  1. One thing I can never work out is why we can’t afford to play any pre-season games at home (unless it’s against Rovers) whereas other clubs who share their stadiums with soccer clubs (eg Wigan, Huddersfield, Doncaster and Halifax) don’t seem to find this a problem
