Great Britain rugby league have announced their full 24-man tour squad for 2019, with Hull FC’s Jake Connor included.
The Lions will play matches in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, with Connor set to make his GB debut following a successful debut year with England last season.
Connor has also been included in the England squad for the inaugural World Cup 9s tournament to be played in Sydney this weekend (19th and 20th).
New Hull FC 2020 signing Josh Jones, who played in the Super League Grand Final for Salford on Saturday before getting married on Sunday, is included.
Head coach Wayne Bennett has controversially selected Australian Blake Austin. Jackson Hastings is also selected, alongside Lachlan Coote who has previously played for Scotland.
There is no place for Sam Burgess who has a serious shoulder injury, and Sean O’Loughlin is also missing.
Seven NRL players make the cut, with the other 17 from Super League. James Graham will captain the side in what is GB’s first tour since 2006.
