2020 Hull FC Season

2020 season will begin again in August, shortened to 20 rounds after Toronto pulled out the competition. Hull will restart behind closed doors against Salford at Headingley, before playing Castleford in a ‘home’ game at Langtree Park.

Dates and kick off times from Round 11 all TBC. Hull will travel to France at the end of October.

The final twelve rounds are deliberately scheduled from September on-wards in the hope that crowds will safely be able to return to grounds.

The play-off system is a simple 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 knock-out with the winners going to the Grand Final.

The Challenge Cup will take place, with Hull to play their Sixth Round re-draw tie against Castleford on the weekend of 22/23 August. The winner will face Wigan.

There are also some rule changes, with the ‘Six Again’ rule seen in the NRL coming into place. There will be no scrums.
