Hull FC players selected for national teams

Six Hull FC players have been selected in national squads as rugby league heads towards the end of the season internationals.

Jake Connor has been selected in a 16-man England Rugby League squad for this months 9s World Cup in Sydney. There was also confirmation of the snakes inclusion in the Great Britain squad for their four-match tour to New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

The 9s tournament will be held at Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta, and will be shown by Sky Sports on October 18th and 19th. England will play Wales, France and Lebanon with the group winners progressing to the semi-finals.

Jamie Shaul was named in the training squad, but hasn’t made the final cut.

Other Hull FC International Representation

Josh Bowden and Masimbaashe Matongo have been named in England Knights train on squad to play Jamaica.

Mark Minichiello has decided to have one last hurrah with Italy for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ireland and Spain.

Bureta Faraimo has also been selected for the USA.

Kieran Buchanan has been selected for Scotland for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Greece.

The full 24-man Great Britain touring squad will be announced on Monday 14th October after the Super League Grand Final.
