Radford the “Dog Whisperer” bitten after hero mission

Lee Radford was sporting a bandage on his hand at his pre-match press conference after getting bitten by a dog on Thursday afternoon.

The Hull FC head coach tried to catch an injured dog outside the clubs County Road training ground, but it all went wrong with Radford going to A&E after the bite.

“I got bit by a dog,” Radford explained in his pre-match press conference having been asked about the bandage on his hand.

“I was saving a dog, they’re all calling me the dog whisperer outside. It got ran over outside of here yesterday so I chased it down County Road and then I got out of breath so I pinched a young kids bike.

“I got down to the bottom of County Road, I managed to corner it, it was only a little cute thing, and it bit my hand. I spent the afternoon in A&E getting tetanus shots and now I look like Keith Lemon.”

Whilst Radford was in hospital, it turns out the dog was okay, so there’s a good ending to this story, we think.
