Jordan Thompson leaves Hull FC

Hull FC have confirmed that utility forward Jordan Thompson has left the club to join Leigh Centurions.

Thompson signed for the Black and Whites in 2014, and made 104 appearances for Hull, scoring 12 tries.

He has now signed a two year deal with Leigh, who were relegated to the Championship last week.

On his departure Lee Radford said: “First and foremost I’d like to thank Jordan for his time at the club. He always trained and played as an energiser and played with such energy to help others around him.

“The development of Brad Fash and Masimbaashe Matongo has limited Jordan’s playing time this year and I understand that someone at his age needs to be playing regular first-team football.”
